Wendell Berry

Cars, trucks, buses -- and factories that make cars, trucks and buses -- produce lots of air pollution. When possible, walk, bike or skateboard safely to your destination.

Avoid burning trash or leaves, and stay away from smoke and tell an adult if you see it. When possible, use electric tools (like lawn mowers or leaf blowers) instead of gas tools.

Plant a tree or flowers, and help water and care for plants. Protect trees—don’t break branches or damage them . You can also grow plants inside your home or classroom to help the air and us.

Turn off lights, TVs, tablets, and games when you’re done. You can also open windows for fresh air instead of always using AC. Doing these steps will increase the quality of our air and your bank account.

Share what you know with family, friends and others...teach them to "care for the air"!

Every small action you take to help the environment is like giving the Earth a big, fresh breath of clean air!
