

1. Help plant trees, flowers, or seeds at home, school, or in your community.
2. Don’t step on plants or grass, because walking on plants can damage or kill them.
3. Look at and enjoy plants, but don’t pick them unless it’s allowed. Picking too many flowers can harm plants.

Plants need water to grow strong and health, and using too much water can waste resources needed for plants. Turn off faucets and use only the water you need. Then use the water you save to water plants regularly...but not too much water, as it will harm the plant.

Healthy soil helps plants grow better. Help pull weeds (with adult supervision) to give healthy plants more space to grow, and
avoid dumping harmful substances on the ground. You can also help add compost or natural materials to soil, and throw trash away properly and pick up litter near plants and trees.

Insects help plants grow, so do not harm bees or butterflies and help plant flowers that attract them. Be careful - some insects can help plants, but hurt people.
